1:1 Singing Lessons

No two students are the same, so no two singing lessons should be either! 1:1 singing lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student, to suit their learning style and personal goals.

Who is this for?

Anyone! I have worked with students of all ages, however, for online lessons an element of concentration is required, so I would recommend this for students aged 6 - adult.

What happens in a 1:1 singing lesson?

Firstly, we have an introductory lesson to give us a chance to get to know each other and discuss what you're hoping to get out of your lessons.

During your introductory lesson we will usually:

- Have a chat about your previous experience (none required, it's just good to know if you have any!)

- Discuss your goals for singing.

- Do some vocal warm up exercises

- I will listen to you sing a song and give some feedback.

Each lesson following your introductory lesson is different depending on what it is you're hoping to achieve.

All lessons are currently taught via zoom. Your introductory lesson is complimentary, so get in touch to book today!

Performing Arts Online

I understand that not everyone wants to have 1:1 lessons, so I'm really excited to be able to offer my Performing Arts Online classes for those who would prefer to learn in a group setting.

Who is this for?

Currently this is for ages 10 - 17, but if there is enough interest I will be looking to start classes for different age groups in the future.

What happens in a Performing Arts Online class?

We will start with some warm up exercises to get everyone ready for the class.

Following this we will look at a variety of pieces including musical theatre vocal pieces, bits of acting and dance, and pop pieces with harmonies.

At the end of each session there will be time for students to ask questions, share anything they would like to tell the group, and "perform" back to everyone if they would like to.

Classes take place on Tuesday evenings from 5:45pm and last for between 45 and 60 minutes.

Your first session is just £5. Places are limited so get in touch to book yours today!

Virtual Choir

Although some choirs have started up again, I know there are those of us who don't feel ready, or are unable to return yet. So, I'm happy to offer Virtual Choir as an alternative!

Who is this for?

Anyone aged 18 and over who loves singing! Under 18s are welcome as a "plus 1" if they have a parent/guardian who is taking part.

What happens in a Virtual Choir session?

We will start with some warm up exercises to get everyone ready for the class.

Following this we will look at pieces of music from a variety of genres, including pop, rock, musical theatre and more!

At the end of each session there will be time for students to ask questions and share what they've learned with the group if they would like to.

Testimonials

"Thank you for the confidence you are giving Katie. She is standing in the sitting room facing the window as if she's onstage and singing her heart out. This time least year she point blank refused to sing. She still won't let me record her though!

— Louise, Katie's Mum

"Thank you for everything you have done for Naomi. Since she started singing lessons with you she has built up her confidence so much and I look forward to what is to come in the future for her with your help"

— Mel, Naomi's Mum

"I just want to thank you. Hayden was singing in the car after dancing and she's coming on a treat! She only usually sings like that alone in her room, you have really given her confidence"

— Charlene, Hayden's Mum
